I’m not sure I could say anything more eloquent about knitting and women who knit, and why it should not be dismissed off hand. Indeed, at some of the scathing comments by the USOC mentioned, I scoffed “I’d like to see you knit a sweater!”
For more serious news, my conservative friends (and it may surprise readers that most of my friends are rather conservative, though I can only think of one Republican among them), may appreciate Charles Krauthammer’s column on the Arizona immigration law and Obama’s presidency, which made me think in ways I hadn’t before, and also made me laugh hysterically at his wit. But then again, I’ve had two cocktails, so everything’s funny to me.
That’s right. I get drunk and read the Washington Post. I am INSANE.
