I Must Be Becoming a Writer – Later

Cause it’s a quarter after twelve, I’m working on my historical fiction piece, and I think to myself, “If this is going to go anywhere, it’s gonna need a Gin and Tonic.”

Such a Hemingway, I know.

The more I read about Caesar, the more I go, “Holy crap, that guy was f—ing awesome.” It’s amazing he remains a historical figure and not some character of legend.

Did I mention that’s what my historical piece is on? If I really push, I may get it wrapped up in a week. Certainly before April, if all goes well. It’s going to be at least fifty pages, that isn’t bad, and I think I know how I’m going to end it. So wish me some luck, cause I’m more than half way through my drink, so I probably need it.
